Kelly and our client recently had the pleasure of attending the Oxford Deaf Festival, and what a day it was!

The festival was alive with energy, connection, and community spirit. They had the chance to meet some truly inspiring people, including Deaf Celebrity Chef Yvonne Cobb, Deaf
Presenter and Comedian Fifi Garfield, and Deaf Comedian Gavin Lilly. Each encounter brought joy, laughter, and meaningful conversations that made the day unforgettable.

But it wasn’t just the big moments that stood out—it was also the little ones. Even something as simple as sharing a lift journey became part of the adventure. For our client, travelling with an oxygen cylinder can sometimes make getting out and about a challenge. Thanks to thoughtful planning and the right support, however, every aspect of the day was made accessible, enjoyable, and stress-free.
Events like the Oxford Deaf Festival remind us how important inclusion and accessibility are in creating experiences that everyone can fully take part in. For Kelly and our client, it wasn’t just a day out—it was a celebration of community, resilience, and joy.
We’re already looking forward to the next one!
